Pottermania
Well, its finally here. However, I can't help being more excited about Google Earth. Finding an accelerator - like at CERN, BNL or better still FNAL - is pretty easy from 'space'. What else can we find? Golden Gate, Oracle HQ, Colliseum, Helicopter landing pads on top of the Hong Kong Peninsula, Great Pyramids, Kansai airport.
Now I can visit all of the LCG Tier1s - and even Tier2s. Make a great SuperComputing demo. Just need to add globules of data, gushing along network pipes, to complete the animation.
